Do you offer PCB layout services?



Yes, we do offer PCB layout and other engineering services. Please send the schematic and BOM files to [email protected], and our design team will review the requirements and quote accordingly.


If I only have a schematic, can you make PCBs for me?



Yes, we can create a PCB layout based on your schematic & BOM and then schedule the production. For a quick quotation, kindly send your schematic & BOM files and all the requirements to [email protected].


Are you based in the United States?



We are Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) that provides complete Turnkey PCB manufacturing and assembly in the United States and Canada.


Do you ship boards outside Chicago?



Yes, we provide shipment to all the states.


Do you offer free samples?



Yes, if the order quantity falls into our FREE SAMPLE offer, we ship the FREE samples along with the ordered quantity.


What are your working hours?



Our manufacturing plant operates from 9 AM to 5:00 PM (CDT). All our customer representatives are available 24/7 for our customers.

BARE BOARD PCB ORDERING FAQS:

Is there any limit on the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for bare board orders?



We have no MOQ policy as we understand the customer’s needs and can manufacture the quantity minimum as 1 piece.


How can I get the PCB fabrication price? Or How to order bare board PCBs? Can I place PCB orders via email?



It is very easy to order PCB bare boards with Blind Buried Circuits. Please fill the quote form, and we will get back to you within 24 hours with a quotation. Also, we accept orders via email.


How can I get a quotation for Aluminum, Metal Core, LED, Flex, Rigid-Flex, and Rogers PCB?

I only have a single PCB file. Can I have my boards manufactured in arrays?



Yes, we can provide PCBs in arrays. Please specify all the requirements in special comments while submitting the quote in our form.


Can I still increase the PCB quantity even though the order has been placed?



Unfortunately, we cannot increase the quantity at the production stage. But we suggest our customers place the order again as a repeat order for the additional quantities. We can ship both orders together as well.


How to repeat my previous order? How do I reorder PCBs?



For placing a repeat order, please get in touch with [email protected] and mention your previous order number or part number, along with the purchase quantity and payment details.


I will place a large order, but I want to test your quality first. Is this possible?



For testing purposes, we recommend our customers place a small quantity order and approve the remaining quantity after testing the first article.


In what circumstances will there be additional charges applied?



All the additional cost is charged if the customer changes the files after placing the order. There are damage charges for orders placed on hold during production.


I just placed a bare board order. Can I have this order assembled too?



Yes, please reach out to [email protected] to get a quick PCB assembly quote. We will hold the bare boards at our office after production and directly ship the assembled PCBs.


I placed an order days ago but have not received any emails. What should I do?

Do you offer rework on boards if there are issues with my boards?



Yes, we do offer rework. In case of any cosmetic or circuit issues, our team investigates, and if it is a production problem, we remake the boards for FREE OF CHARGE.

Which stencil is better? Which is cheaper?

It is very easy to order PCB

With price point, the chemical etched stencils are slightly cheaper than laser stencils, but concerning accuracy, a laser cut stencil is the ideal choice.

PCB ASSEMBLY LABOR ORDERING FAQS:

Is there any limit on the minimum order quantity for PCB Assembly orders?



There is no minimum order quantity (MOQ) requirement for PCB assembly orders.


How much does PCB Assembly cost? Or How to order PCB assembly service? Can I place a PCB Assembly order via email?

Can I still change the circuit spec once the quote request has been submitted?



Yes, we can update the files and requote if there are any changes. But changing the files during PCB production or assembly is not recommended.


I requested a PCB Assembly quote days ago but have not received an email. What should I do?

How to reorder previously assembled boards?



For placing a repeat order for assembled PCBs, please email [email protected] and mention the previous order number or design part number to get a quick PCB assembly quote.


Do you provide the first article inspection for PCB Assembly?



Yes, we offer the first article (FA) for PCB assembly.


Do you provide component procurement services? How do you ensure the authenticity of the parts you purchase?



Yes, we can help find all types of components, including hard-to-source obsolete components. We procure all the components from our approved vendor list, which assures new and original parts.

CAPABILITIES AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FAQS:

What standards do Blind Buried Circuits follow?



All bare boards are ISO9001:2008, UL, and RoHS certificated. Our assembled circuit boards meet IPC Class 2 and 3 standards.


Do you offer custom layer stack-up?



Yes, please share your layer stack-up with our engineering team at [email protected] for technical advice.


Can you handle controlled impedance requirements?



Yes, we can manufacture the boards with minimum impedance tolerance of ±5%.


Do you provide an X-ray inspection after the assembly process?



Yes, we offer BGA x-ray inspection after assembly.

MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLY FILE REQUIREMENTS FAQS:

Which software do you propose to create a PCB? What files do you need?



There are no specific requirements for the PCB software. However, we need the Gerber files in RS-274x format. Any other previous versions of the Gerber file are not acceptable.


How can I send Gerber files to you?



Please upload your Gerber RS-274x and all the basic details in our quote form to get a quick quote.


I need to update the Gerber file of my order. How can I do that?



If the Gerber files are updated at the time of production, there will be damage charges on that order, and we will start the project as a completely new one.


I need to update the BOM file of my assembly order. What should I do?



If the BOM files are updated after the kit audit and clearance, then there will be re-auditing charges for updating the complete Gerber files and starting the kit audit again.


Before placing an order, please review my PCB files to ensure you can produce the board’s requirements.

What is BOM, and what info do you need to purchase my components?



Bill of Material or BOM files consist of the following details:

1. Quantity of parts per board.
2. Reference designators
3. Part description
4. Manufacturing part name
5. Manufacturing part number
6. Part value and package size
7. DNP or DNI parts

MANUFACTURING LEAD TIME FAQS:

Can you complete the PCBs in the shorter lead time of 2-3 days?



Yes, we can manufacture the bare boards in a shorter lead time.


How do you calculate lead time for an order?



The order lead time starts the next morning after receiving payment and confirmation on DFM issues. Please note that our production lead time excludes all public holidays and weekends.


What is the expected lead time for a PCB?



Our bare board manufacturing lead time is 5 to 7 working days for standard PCBs. For Flex PCB, our standard lead time is 10 working days. For Cricitcal PCB designs, the lead time can vary from 10 to 15 working days, depending on the design requirements.


What is the expected lead time for a PCBA order?



Depending on the complexity, our assembly lead time is around 8 to 14 working days.
